Free Discord accounts have an 8MB limit. Nitro Basic bumps it to 50MB, Nitro to 500MB. Pick the Discord preset and it'll target 25MB which works for most Nitro Basic users. If you're on a free account, use Custom and set 7 MB.

Depends on how aggressively you compress. Cutting a 100MB video to 25MB will have some quality drop, but for casual sharing it's usually fine. Cutting a 30MB video to 25MB you likely won't notice any difference at all.

Small files (under 50MB) usually finish in under a minute. Larger files can take 2 to 3 minutes. The server runs FFmpeg with two-pass encoding so it takes a bit longer than a quick re-encode but gives better results.
