Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 2, 2026
1. Introduction
MultSaver (accessible at https://multsaver.com) provides free online tools for downloading and processing publicly available video: downloaders for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X (Twitter), plus a video compressor, audio converter and video trimmer.
This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms, what information we collect when you use those tools, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. We would rather describe our actual practices accurately than make vague assurances that don't hold up. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described here.
You do not need an account to use MultSaver. We never ask for your name, email address or a password in order to download a video.
2. Information We Collect
a. Information you actively submit
- The video link (URL) you paste into a tool. This is required to retrieve the video you asked for.
- Files you upload to the compressor, audio converter or trimmer. These are processed and then deleted. We do not keep copies of your uploaded media.
- Contact form details. If you contact us, we receive whatever you choose to send, typically a name, an email address and a message.
b. Information we record automatically
To operate the service, prevent abuse and enforce our daily usage limits, we keep a record of each request made to our download tools. That record includes:
- Your IP address
- An approximate location derived from that IP address (country, region, city) and your internet service provider. This is a network-based estimate, not a precise or GPS location.
- The video link you submitted and the platform it belongs to
- The title of the video, as returned by that platform
- Which tool you used, whether the request succeeded or failed, and the date and time
- A running count of requests from your IP address per day, used to enforce the limits in section 4
We also collect standard technical information such as browser type, device type and pages visited.
c. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies to remember basic preferences. Where advertising is served, our advertising partners may set their own cookies to measure and personalise ads. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may stop working as expected.
3. How We Use This Information
- To deliver the service. We cannot fetch a video without the link you submit.
- To prevent abuse. IP-based records let us spot automated scraping, bots and attempts to overwhelm the service.
- To enforce usage limits fairly across users (see section 4).
- To diagnose faults. Knowing which platform and which request failed is how we find and fix bugs.
- To understand usage in aggregate, so we can improve the tools.
- To serve advertising through third-party ad networks, which is what keeps the tools free.
- To comply with the law or protect our rights and the safety of others.
We do not use this data to build advertising profiles about you personally, and we do not sell it.
4. Usage Limits
MultSaver is free but not unlimited. We cap the number of requests a single IP address can make per day, counted separately for each tool. This keeps the service responsive for everyone and blocks automated scraping. Ordinary personal use will not come close to the limit. If you do reach it, it resets the following day. Enforcing this limit is one of the reasons we record IP addresses.
5. How Long We Keep It
- Uploaded files (compressor, converter, trimmer) are deleted after processing.
- Downloaded videos are never stored on our servers. The file is delivered to your device; we don't keep a copy.
- Request records described in section 2b are kept for a limited period for abuse prevention and diagnostics, then deleted.
- Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
6. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only in these cases:
- Service providers. Our hosting provider and the third-party service that performs the actual video retrieval necessarily handle the link you submit in order to return the video to you.
- IP geolocation. IP addresses are sent to a third-party geolocation service to derive the approximate location described in section 2b.
- Advertising partners. Ad networks may set cookies and collect data as described in their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of MultSaver or others.
7. Data Security
The Site is served over HTTPS and we apply reasonable measures to protect stored data from unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Object to or restrict how we process it
- Opt out of personalised advertising through your cookie settings
Because we don't operate accounts, the practical way we can locate your data is by IP address. If you would like your request records removed, contact us with the IP address you used and the approximate date, and we will locate and delete them.
9. Third-Party Links and Content
MultSaver links to third-party sites and retrieves media hosted by third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites; please review their own policies. MultSaver does not host any of the videos you download. The content belongs to its respective owners. If you are a rights holder, see our DMCA policy.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above will reflect any change. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
